Psych (Lassiter Smiles)
I have to go to bed, but, ack, the Psych Q&A from Comic-con is on the official Psych website through the countdown calendar (Number 10, I think? Just go looking), and Tim came on doing what Roday should have done (TOTAL GRANDSTANDING. IT WAS AMAZING) and I love him and really want to watch. ACK. (His hair is scary short. It's freaking me out.)

Oooh, they just referenced Scrubs. And Roday is a shiny gold star.

Steve: "I would love Gus to have a relationship."
Steve's Mind (you know it to be true): WITH SHAWN. HAAAAAAA!

Why do I get the feeling I'm not getting to bed for another 45 minutes?

ETA: Dark, dark chocolate. Mmmm. Steve/Dulé 4eva. I did tell you. HAHAHAHA.

Q: "What genre have you not spoofed yet that you would like to?"

Roday: "I think I speak for everyone when I say 'porn'."

ETA3: I was wrong about the "Tuesday the 17th" moments with Lassiter. Even though Tim tried to attribute them to Roday, they were written by Steve. I... I don't know why I'm a little disappointed by this, but I am. On the upshot, Roday did write Juliet's speech in "An Evening with Mr Yang".

Thanks for the link to the ComicCon Q&A! And that advent calendar is officially the best thing ever. At least, until the new season starts.

Also, I need a Gus bobbleheaded doll like yesterday. *covets*

They do look awesome!

Steve Franks writes Gus/Shawn fic, y/y?

"These two guys complete each other." Awwwww.

Dulé's like "I think of them as brothers". Steve is thinking, "No. Not unless you usually think brothers want to make sweet, sweet chocolatey love to each other."

Every time I read that Steve Franks has a wife (and how cute is it that he asked everyone to wish her a happy anniversary?), I'm surprised that he's not gay. Heh.

I like that he doesn't let his heterosexuality stop him from writing an awesomely gay show.

I need to watch this yet, but I've read the highlighted transcripts, which give me so much joy. Including Tim referencing "Spinal Tap" *cult film geek gleefit* And I've seen pics of Tim's entrance and been completely, unreasonably hypnotised by his middle-aged belly XD

Also, if you have Twitter, you might be interested to know that Tim is going to be tweeting(??) IC as Lassiter on it \o/

I don't twit, but, damn I get closer every day.

The opening does make up for the lack of Tim quotient during the panel, although he does have some great moments.

It's worth making an account just to watch the Psych writers and Official Psych twitters. They give some pretty juicy stuff out....

Like, ahead of what we're going to see, or as an addendum to what we already know? Because if it's ahead, I like not knowing that stuff. I was going against myself watching the Comic-Con panel, but I was hooked.

A bit of both really... There's heads up on stuff like what was going on with comic con and promo vids and give aways, but they have spoilery type stuff too. Though, I really hate spoilers - they can stop me from being interested in a film or show if I don't think I'm going to be surprised anymore - but I've not seen anything that's put me off.

Comic-Con is such a distracting.

:D It's great! Very good for people like me who live literally in the middle of nowhere.

Central Australia. I teach a small remote Australian Indigenous community of 200. We're 5 hours drive from a town called Alice Springs, and 14 hours drive from Adelaide, where I'm based in the school holidays.

It's amazing in all kinds of ways (the languages spoken predominently in community are Yankunytjatjara and Pitjantjatjara) --- I get to experience things very few other people ever will! But it's also fairly isolated when you want to, er, go see a film at the cinema, visit the bank, or all of those things that many people take for granted.

You can have a look under my teaching tag here if you're interested in reading about some of my experiences, good and bad.

Hi, sorry. I answered not knowing you're Australian. :D Well, the more information, the better, yeah?
