Happened twice today; 1. abberation is not the correct spelling. Dictionaries and spellcheck are your friends. 2. You mean 'home-sewn', not 'hand-sewn', sweetie. There's these things called sewing machines? Yeah. They're awesome.
Both errors in the same story; EPIC FAIL.
Also, I just spent an ungodly amount of time on TV Tropes...
... and was more than a little pleased to see Life on Mars show up under both "Dis continuity" and "Grand Finale". Because it's true. So true. I also think we had a bit of "Creator Breakdown" and "Author on Board" (Matt admitted it was because he'd fallen in love with the 70s characters [he means Gene] and couldn't handle keeping Sam in 2006 --- when his original idea [Sam learns from his coma-ly experience and doesn't throw himself off a roof] was the, er, narratively logical one given that 1973 was a fantasy and Sam was never freaking suicidal.) Not saying it would have been a lovely, heartwarming ending, or anything, because I was well expecting it to be depressing as fuck, but it wouldn't have been SURPRISE CANCER. Just sayin'... and yes. I can still rant about this. I don't know why.
