I've been steadily reading through my books, although, naturally, going through the Agatha Christies first, because I'm predictable like that. (I do think, however, I've bought the least awesome ones - mostly because I've already read the brilliant ones and didn't click them into my shopping cart. I miss Hastings! Poirot without Hastings is like Holmes without Watson.) Next in the pile is Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency since one of the other teachers is a Douglas Adams fan and I'm hoping it'll give us something in common we can talk about, so he can stop saying things like "shut up, Laura!" when I'm being my typical quiet self in the staffroom.
I'm going to go put some rice on for dinner.
