Then I bought lots of chocolate, went back to the ABC shop to grab a hold of Blackpool (the totally sweet shop clerk was still extremely sweet) and went home in a huff. I have now ordered State of Play online. It should get to me some time this week. If it doesn't, you will actually get whinging of intense proportions. The whinging shall be anvil sized. It will be larger than life, just like Dominic Foy.
Of course, I do have the delectable Blackpool now in my midst. And whilst it doesn't have Marc, John, Bill or Phil, it does have a shared actor - David Morrisey, as well as David Tennant, which is good, yes? You really can't go wrong with a drama-comedy-musical anyway, not even when the actors sing under the backing tracks.
They also had Daniel Deronda, Tipping the Velvet, Vanity Fair and Casanova. Next pay day my sweets, next pay day. I didn't see He Knew He Was Right there, though. Hmm.
You realise that when I get them all there's going to be Philip Glenister, Hugh Bonneville and David Tennant picspam? Oh yes.
And yes, I have seen all of these on TV, but I want to see them again. I want to own them. I want to know that they belong to me, up on my shelf, perfectly packaged.
