Now, of course, I am singing a song by Heart...

Are there any scenes in television shows/movies/books&stories/fanfic/fanart/fanvids that haunt you even in mere suggestion?

F'rinstance, I only need to read some words once said by a character in Serenity and I find I want to curl up into a ball and cry. I'm always gutted.

I can't listen to the gorgeous Israel Kamakawiwoʻole version of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', or, no joke, I actually do cry. Tears! In a similar vein, I now have a weirdly huge kink for characters saying thank you to each other and always smile when they do so earnestly. It generally doesn't matter which characters, anymore.

Whenever I listen to 'Alone' by Heart, my face splits into the widest grin because of one outstanding Merlin vid.

Have certain scenes or moments stuck with you throughout the years? What do you think it is in particular about them that stayed with you?

Well, bearing in mind I've been watching television for at least 24 years more than you...

Blake's 7 - Servelan casually dropping a luxurious coat of furs to the ground in "Project Avalon". (What an entrance!) Avon crying "Have you betrayed me Blake?" as he stands surrounded and out-gunned in "Blake". Vila, cowering and terrified when he realises Avon is going to push him out of the airlock of a shuttle.

Babylon 5 - An aged Emperor Londo revealing the "keeper" on his neck as his world burns around him. A timid Vir trying to apologise for the sins of his people when he's trapped in a lift with G'Kar - and G'Kar rejecting it with "Dead, dead, dead!" G'Kar high on telepathic drugs beating up Londo and forcing his way into his mind. Vir, standing by an unconscious Londo saying, "He needs me." And on a lighter note; Londo and G'Kar smuggling a disguised prisoner out of the Centauri royal palace. An early episode with Londo piloting a shuttle and reliving his glory days as a pilot.

Farscape - John and D'Argo hanging in the sky together at the end of "Family Ties" as John's good luck charm floats away. The first entrance of Scorpius. "That man... is an imposter." Harvey and John playing Looney Tunes in John's mind. John in Aeryn's body teaching Rygel in John's body how to piss - and John exploring Aeryn's body while he's the temporary inhabitant (and being caught by Aeryn!) John and Scorpius facing each other over the destruction of his exploding Command Carrier. And so much more...

Life on Mars Sam's panicked run down the street when he first enters 1973 culminating in his arrival at the police station (and being slammed against the filing cabinet by Gene.)

Ultraviolet The protagonists at the begining realising they're dealing with someone or something that can't be caught on CCTV. Jack being brought back to life at the end and diving of a bridge.

Forever Knight - Nick running through the daylight streets and eating when he thinks he has been cured. And getting more and more hyper as the day goes on. Schanke finally working out what Nick is and going to LaCroix for confirmation ("Are you vampires?") and instead of being killed, being talked out of it. And Nick, LaCroix and Janette in flashback being pursued by angry vampire hunters into a deserted barn and turing on their would-be killers...

I'm not even going to try and list all the Doctor Who moments!

;)

I only listened a very scant few of mine, because, yes, you may have been watching tv a number of years more, but not necessarily that many hours, hahaha.

Thanks for sharing these ♥ (I am currently rewatching Farscape with my parents. It's just getting to the part where it became excellent. Guh, so good.)
