It is a chocolate chip kind...

Background 1
Erm. The Peter/Neal in this episode kind of reminded me of all those smarm Sentinel fics people used to mock back in the day, where the two characters would sleep together, take baths together, routinely say they loved the other --- and yet it wasn't "a gay thing". I mean, really.

Yeah, MG mentioned the same thing only he didn't reference The Sentinel. *g*

It's not like I ever expect strong plot in WC, it's not its strength, but last night was really weak on several fronts. Of course they'd painted themselves in to a stupid plot corner anyway as we know they have to get Neal back to NY and working with Peter again.

:D I have affinity with all MGs, I see.

I actually really enjoyed the episode, and, in fact, all of the Peter/Neal adoration. I just felt like I was reading character study pre-slash.

I struggled with the "brand spanking new cocky pantomime villain" for plot *cough* purposes and the whole mixed message of "no extradition but let's run from the FBI agent when the FBI has no jurisdiction outside of America" bit.

White Collar's weakest point has always been its plotting. The beginning of series 1 is about the only time the plots have made any kind of sense.

As said, I don't watch it for the plot but I do feel they put undue strain on their limited plotting abilities by coming up with this silly plotline to begin with.
