Psych (Prince Pun!)
Thing that has been sadly missing from my life up until this moment: dried pineapple. OMG, it is so good. An instant sugar hit.

Thing that I resolve to have more of in my life from this day forth: dried pineapple. No, seriously, it is delicious!

I don't get how it happened, but dried pineapple is easily the sweetest dried fruit ever, and I must agree with this entire post.

(Sorry I was trying to edit this to fix my html-coding errors and LJ ate my comment, I will try to reproduce what I had written.)

Pineapple is one of my favourite fruits but buying a whole one just for me isn't very practical so I try to resist the temptation. This is usually aided by the fact that the pineapples available in UK shops are usually not very ripe, with wooden texture and a bit lacking in flavour. Discovering dried pineapple therefore made me very happy; I have since realized that while it is always good, there are some brands that are even better. My favourite one is Tropical Wholefoods. I usually get mine from Oxfam, using the 'it is for charity, so I am allowed to spend money on it' excuse, but checking their website it seems the do deliver to 'international' addresses if you want to give them a try. In that case I would recommend also getting some of their pineapple and cashew snack bars which are a current obsession of mine.

Ooh, thanks for the rec :D It's sad that I never knew this existed before, oh my.

(Pineapples in Adelaide are generally pretty good, but I very rarely buy them either.)
