Day 13 - Favorite childhood show

I watched an inordinate amount of telly as a kid. Really. A lot. I'd wake up early in the morning and watch black and white movies, I Love Lucy and various kids shows. And my parents didn't exactly give me an early bedtime, when I was little.

I actually... I really loved Only Fools and Horses, Keeping Up Appearances and One Foot in the Grave, when I was young. Dad's Army and Are You Being Served? Allo Allo! Watching them now, I wonder how I ever understood anything, but apparently I must have, because I enjoyed them well enough. I'd like to think a lot of the innuendo went over my head, but I picked up on at least some of it, I'm sure. I think, sometimes, that these formative years of sitcom watching must in some way contribute to my ability to write dialogue.

In terms of actual kids shows, I'll have to go with Sesame Street and Art Attack. I had crushes on Grover and Neil Buchanan.
