Psych (Lassiter Smiles)
I am watching Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home, which I haven't seen since I was teeny tiny, and omg, this film is of the cracky glee. LOVE!

I love that film and watched it with entirely too much fannish glee. 'Colourful metaphors' - I crack up every time. And nuclear vessels! ♥

That film never fails to make me smile.

Which it sounds like you can use right now, so yay!

That film always amuses me because it's like the one Star Trek film everyone has seen.

"Oh, the one with the whales? I've seen that."

:D

(Relatedly - did you hear that they've actually got around to inventing Scotty's transparent aluminium?)

I googled it. That's *amazing*.

The funniest Star Trek film, IMO. I love it! Bought it on VHS maaaany years ago and watched it countless times. :)

Haven't seen it since you were teeny? For shame! Best Star Trek film evah (eat it, Wrath of Khan!). Okay, First Contact is like the best Star Trek movie ever, but if we're just talking TOS...yeah. IV.

So much love! LDS! Nuclear Wessels! "You look like a cadet review!" "Everyone remember where we parked."

Every time I have a non-responsive computer I always say in a Scotty voice "Hello, computer..."

Actually, after the new movie came out, I turned right around and watched The Voyage Home again.

I LOVE First Contact.

It is so, so great and I can totally imagine that 'hello, computer' thing becoming something I also do.

"Back in the sixties he was part of the Free Speech movement at Berkeley. I think he did a little too much LDS."

I laughed forever at that line. ♥
